EOTD: Neutral Purple and Tutorial

Hello everyone, any exciting plans for the weekend? Today I wanted to do an eotd post because I haven't done one in a while. I didn't have time to take pictures of the whole face but to be honest I didn't do something special, some powder foundation, bronzer and sheer lip gloss. For the eyes I wanted something neutral but with purple touch so here the final result:
Neutral Purple Eye Makeup
This a very simple everyday eye makeup, nothing dramatic. I didn't want very vivid purple on the lid so I toned it down.
Products used:
- Urban Decay Primer Potion
- NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk
- The 1st,2nd,3rd and 10th eyeshadows from the first row and the 5th from the second row from NYX Nude on Nude palette
- Urban Decay AC/DC eyeshadow
- e.l.f. liquid eyeliner
- Benefit bad girl mascara

How to:
- First apply the primer and the eyeshadow base.
- Next with a fluffy brush like Sigma E35 add an eyeshadow close to your skin tone(3rd from Nude on Nude) in the crease and blend it well.
- Apply the purple eyeshadow( UD AC/DC) all over the lid with an eyeshadow brush like Sigma E55.
- With a dome shape brush like Sigma E45 add some dark brown eyeshadow (5th from Nude on Nude) in the outer corner and bring it slightly into the crease.
- Use a matte beige eyeshadow ( 1st from Nude on Nude) to highlight under the brow and for inner corner use a shimmery beige eyeshadow( 2nd from Nude on Nude).
- Because the purple was a bit too bright I used the matte beige with a fluffy brush and kinda dust it over the purple lightly.
- Line half the the lash line with liquid eyeliner and wing it out. For the other half use a push brush like MAC 212 and a black eyeshadow.
- Apply few coats of mascara and you're done
- Enjoy :D

What do you think of the eye makeup? Let me know in the comments below :)

MUA Undressed Palette Review and Swatches

In my latest order from MUA I bought the Undressed palette as I was looking for a neutral palette, kinda similar to UD Naked, that would have at least 2 matt colors and I found the Undressed Palette.

Before I buy it,I did some research and found couple girls to compare this one to UD Naked. After seeing some swatches of these two together I just couldn't believe how similar the look on the picture. Unfortunately I can't say myself whenever they are or not similar as I don't have the Naked  but what can I say is that I'm definitely impressed with this palette. Let's have a look on some more pictures and swatches.

( I used tiny amount of elf eyelid primer )
The packaging is the standar MUA packaging, black plastic case with transparent lid. The transparent lid is something that I love as I don't have to open the palette to see what shades are in it. It also comes with double ended sponge brush which good for sponge brush but useless to me as I prefer brushes.
As you can see the shimmery shades are very pigmented but the matt ones not that much which is something usual with matt shades. They apply and blend beautifully and easily but they are a little bit powdery and you might see some fallout with some shades. Even though the matt shades aren't super pigmented with an eyeshadow primer and/or eyeshadow base you will get a very good pay off.
I'm really happy with the color range. You can achieve lots of neutral looks with this palette alone.
I really like the matt shades as they great to blend out the eyeshadow. I ran out of the eyeshadow I've been using for blending out ( the 3rd eyeshadow from the NYX Nude on Nude) so I'm happy I have these matt shades to do the blending.
The eyeshadows have good lasting power with eyeshadow primer. I never wear eyeshadows without primer so I don't know the lasting power without primer but definitely they won't last that long.
Also something that some might have missed is that on the back of the palette MUA always has mini eye tutorial, here's a picture of the back.

Overall I think this is a great buy for someone who loves neutral colors. I only wish that the matt shade were a bit more pigmented. I don't mind the small amount of faulout as I always do my eyes first and then the rest of my face so I can wipe off any fallout easily. The only negative I found about this palette is that it does contain parabens but other than that for £4 you can't really go wrong with this palette.
Overall rating: 4.5/5
Would I buy it again: Of course

I already have an eye makeup using this palette here and will post few more in future too :)
Do you own this palette? Do you like it?
Have a nice weekend all

EOTD feat MUA Undressed Palette

Couple days ago I recieved my order from MUA which inculded the Undressed palette. So before I did review for it I obviously have to try it. I already used it twice. At first I was thinking of making FOTD but there was nothing special about the rest of my face so I opted for EOTD.

You could easily wear it at day and night, maybe for night look you could add some eyeliner.

Products used:
ELF Eyelid primer
NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk
From the Undressed palette:
Shade 1 to highlight
Shade 2 and 8 on the lid
Shade 9 in outter corner
Shade 3 to to blend out
Shade 2 and 9 on the lower lash line
Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara

Tomorrow I will post my review for the Undressed Palette so definitely come back tomorrow :)
Also I have few looks on my mind that aren't so neutral , these day I really wanna play with colors so keep an eye for that too :).
