EOTD: Neutral Purple and Tutorial

Hello everyone, any exciting plans for the weekend? Today I wanted to do an eotd post because I haven't done one in a while. I didn't have time to take pictures of the whole face but to be honest I didn't do something special, some powder foundation, bronzer and sheer lip gloss. For the eyes I wanted something neutral but with purple touch so here the final result:
Neutral Purple Eye Makeup
This a very simple everyday eye makeup, nothing dramatic. I didn't want very vivid purple on the lid so I toned it down.
Products used:
- Urban Decay Primer Potion
- NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk
- The 1st,2nd,3rd and 10th eyeshadows from the first row and the 5th from the second row from NYX Nude on Nude palette
- Urban Decay AC/DC eyeshadow
- e.l.f. liquid eyeliner
- Benefit bad girl mascara

How to:
- First apply the primer and the eyeshadow base.
- Next with a fluffy brush like Sigma E35 add an eyeshadow close to your skin tone(3rd from Nude on Nude) in the crease and blend it well.
- Apply the purple eyeshadow( UD AC/DC) all over the lid with an eyeshadow brush like Sigma E55.
- With a dome shape brush like Sigma E45 add some dark brown eyeshadow (5th from Nude on Nude) in the outer corner and bring it slightly into the crease.
- Use a matte beige eyeshadow ( 1st from Nude on Nude) to highlight under the brow and for inner corner use a shimmery beige eyeshadow( 2nd from Nude on Nude).
- Because the purple was a bit too bright I used the matte beige with a fluffy brush and kinda dust it over the purple lightly.
- Line half the the lash line with liquid eyeliner and wing it out. For the other half use a push brush like MAC 212 and a black eyeshadow.
- Apply few coats of mascara and you're done
- Enjoy :D

EOTD: Blue and Purple + Tutorial

Hello everyone, cloudy and rainy weekend here in Greece. So I was bored yesterday and I decided to play with some colorful eyeshadows and I came up with a really pretty look with blue, purple and brown eyeshadows.
Summer Blue and Purple Eye Makeup

To be honest as a girl who pretty much always uses neutral colors I've been always afraid of wearing colors such as blue and purple. So I decided to overcome my fear and start using those colors. When you are wearing neutral eyeshadows you don't have to pay that much attention to the rest of your outfit to do not end up looking like a rainbow whereas with colorful eyeshadows you have to pay attention, at least in my opinion. So back to the look. It isn't hard to create but it does require quite enough blending as I used quite a few eyeshadows.
Products
e.l.f. Eyelid Primer
NYX Jumbo Pencil in milk
Shade 1 and 5 from the MUA Undressed Palette
Shade 4,10,13 from MUA Immaculate Collection palette
Bossy Bobbi, Feisty Felicia and Caught in the act Courtney and Devilish Danielle from theBalm Shady Lady Vol 2
Lancome Hypnose Drama mascara
e.l.f. Liquid eyeliner
Brushes
Most of the brushes are from Sigma
Tutorial
- First apply your primer and/or eyeshadow base.
- Using a dome shape brush like Sigma E45 add the Shade 5(matte brown) in the crease and blend it.
- With eyeshadow brush like Sigma E55 apply the Shade 10 (blue) all over the lid leaving out the inner corner.
- With the same dome shape brush ( E45) pick up a small amount of caught in the act courtney ( dark brown) and blend it in the outer half part of the crease.
- Next with the same or another dome shape brush apply the Shade 13(purple) in crease and blend it. Build up the color so when it is blended it looks like a slightly dark purple like you see in the picture.
- With a fluffy brush like Sigma E35 add the Bossy Bobbi ( dark blue) to the outer 1/3 of the lid and slightly blend it inwards.
- With the same brush ( E35) pick a small amount of the Shade 4 (black) and darker up the very outer corner.
- Now with another fluffy brush or angled brush like Sigma E70 use some light beige, close to you skin color, eyeshadow (Shade 1) and blend the eyeshadow under the eyebrow.
- With a flat brush like MAC 252 add the Devilish Danielle (champagne color) under the brow at the highest point,in the inner corner and on 1/3 of the lower lid.
- Next add the same purple( Shade 10) with a pencil brush like MAC 219 on the rest of your lower lid.
- To line your lower lash line use small amount of black or grey eyeshadow with a push brush like MAC 212.
- Using liquid eyeliner, line your lid and wing it out.
- Lastly apply your mascara and you are done :)
- Enjoy!

Leopard Print Nails - NOTD

I wanted to create something fun which won't be very time consuming but still will look pretty.
So this is the design I came up with.
Basically it's leopard kinda looking design with an X in the middle.
The good with this design is that you can choose any color combination you want and recreate it as it's a
super easy design which,i think, looks really pretty :)
And here's the tutorial

What do you think of it?Do you like it?
If you will recreate this please feel free to tweet me your photos,I would love to see yours @AnneColt
