Everyday Spring Makeup Look

Hello lovelies. So calendar based Spring is already here but here in Greece it doesn't really feel like Spring at all, it's still pretty cold outside -boo hoo-. Though that doesn't mean that I can't change my everyday makeup look to make it more colorful and cheerful. So here is one of my go to makeup looks for daytime.
Everyday Makeup Look using drugstore products
Although I typically choose fuller coverage foundations even for daytime, this time I decided to go a bit lighter and let my skin pick through. For that I choose the Loreal Skin Perfection BB Cream in Fair. It's has light to medium coverage when I applied with brush and I use the Sigma F80 brush to buff it into my skin and then I go over it with a makeup sponge for more natural finish.  To set my foundation I use a big fluffy brush, the Powder brush from e.l.f., and the Rimmel Stay Matte. For concealer I have two options and I choose depending on my mood and how dark my under eye circles look. The first option is for when I don't need a lot of coverage and don't want that brightening effect, I choose the Maybelline Fit Me concealer in #15 which is my current favorite everyday concealer. The second option, which I used for these pictures, is the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection in Fair. It gives a really good coverage and because the shade is quite lighter that my skin tone I get that brightening, Kim Kardashian like, effect. If you want to try the Collection 2000 concealer bare in mind that the shade tends to get slightly darker as it sets, unless they changed the formula because I bought mine quite a while ago.
Spring Makeup Look
For my eye makeup I kept it simple but with a pop of color. The eyeshadow primer which I used in the Essence I Love Stage, which is an ok primer for it's price. On the lids I used the Inglot #397 and #402 which I blended in the outer corner and slightly into the crease. On the lower lash line I first used the NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk as base and on top I applied the Loreal Infallible #051 Paradise Orchid, a beautiful lilac eyeshadow. The eyeliner that I used is the Avon Super Shock gel liner in Blackberry. It's seriously one of the best liners I have tried so far and I definitely need to buy the other colors too as it applies and stays on like a dream. Lastly the mascara that I used is the Maybelline The Colossal Go Extreme Volume which has been my go to mascara for the past couple months.
Everyday Spring Makeup Look
On my cheeks I kept it, again, kinda simple without any bronzer and I used a matte pink blusher from MUA in shade 2 and to highlight my face I used the same Inglot eyeshadow that I used on my lids, the #397.  Now, for my lips if I want to go with more of a nude-ish look I will choose the lipstick that I wore in these pictures NYX Ceto. Though there are times when I want to channel my inner Kylie Jenner, so to speak, and I grab a more brown-ish lipstick the Essence Barely.

This is really my everyday makeup look, well at least for the days I feel like putting makeup on and have somewhere to go. Personally I don't wear bold lipsticks during day time and I keep those wow shades like Maybelline Infinitely Fuchsia for night outs. Let me know what you think of this makeup look in the comments below. Till next time, love Anna.

Fall Makeup Look

Hello lovelies, long time no see. I'm trying to put myself back on schedule and be more consistent with blogging and vlogging because the past two months I've been really neglecting it and I kinda missed the interaction with you. So the other day I was playing with some makeup and was feeling kinda autumny and the results are what you see in the pictures. I'm quite have with the outcome and I actually really like this makeup look.

For foundation I used the Maybelline Fit Me in #120. I bought this foundation like a year and half ago and only this year, towards the end of summer, I managed to get some use out of it because I got tan enough for the color to much me quite nicely. That's a shame because this foundation would be a great one for colder months because it has a lovely dewy finish. As for the rest products on my face, I kept it pretty simple; Maybelline fit me concealer in shade #20 and for blush I used MUA blusher in Shade 2. Also as highlighter I used an Inglot eyshadow in #397.

On my eyes I started with the Essence I love stage eyeshadow primer. All of the eyeshadows are from the Too Faced Little Black Book of Beauty. First I applied the Light Beige all over the lid up to the brow for a nice base to work with. In the crease I used a nice mauve color, the Matte Rose, to add some warmth. On the outer 1/3 of the lid I added the Sigma eyeshadow in Resist and on top of it Purple Shimmer from the Too Faced palette for a pop of color. On the inner 2/3s I used the Little Pink shade and finally I added Warm Bronze Sparkle to half of lower lash line. Now for the winged eyeliner I used AVON Supershock liner in Blackberry and for mascara I used my beloved Maybelline The Colossal Go Extreme Volume.

Lastly, on my lips I used MAC lip liner in Cherry and my favorite autumn lipstick The Body Shop Color Crush in #125. In the pictures it looks way more bright red than it truly is, it's more of the wine red and I wore a lot during past Autumn and Winter!
I don't know about you but I'm really excited for Fall, it's my favorite season. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts about the makeup look and your favorite lipstick for this season.

Summer Night Out Look | Makeup, Hair and Nails

Hello ladies, hope you had a wonderful weekend. Today I'm gonna show you a complete summer night out look which includes makeup (of course), hair and nails. This is will be my entry for Beauty and the Beach 2 contest.Let's start with makeup.
Colorful makeup look
Summer night out makeup
If you are following my blog for a while you know that when it comes to eyeshadows I tend to prefer using neutral colors but for special occasions I often throw some color in to make my eye makeup look more interesting. If I was on vacation I would definitely wear this type of makeup for a clubbing night or even later dinner. I used pink, yellow, blue and some neutral eyeshadows. Now, I know it might scare the girls who don't dare to wear some bright eyeshadows but why not try something different? You might even end up liking it more than your go-to makeup. When I created it I wasn't expecting to like it so much but I love it and I think that it compliments my brown eyes, what do you think?
Here is the products list:
Face
Revlon ColorStay in 200 Nude
Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer in shade Fair
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in 001

Cheeks
L'Oreal Glam Bronzer in Blonde Sun
MUA Blusher in shade 2

Lips
NYX round lipstick in Tea Rose
Urban Decay Lip junkie in Midnight Cowboy

Eyes
NYX jumbo pencil in Milk
120 Eyeshadow colors palette from ebay (see the video for exact colors)
e.l.f. Liquid eyeliner
Urban Decay 24/7 pencil in Zero
Maybelline Rocket Mascara

If you want to see tutorial for this look you can click here to watch it on my YouTube channel. (don't forget to like it if you liked the tutorial :) ) Let's move onto the hair.
Night Out hairstyle
Excuse the no makeup face but I took the picture before I film the makeup tutorial. For summer I decided to do a small change on my hair and do a light ombre using L'Oreal Wild Ombre, I don't know about you but I love how my hair turned out. Anyways, the actual hairstyle is pretty simple to do.I have no experience in hair tutorials so I'm gonna do my best to explain how to achieve this:
- Take few front pieces and braided them. Do this on both sides but if you have bangs don't include them in the braid. Don't braid the hair all the way down just enough so the two braids meet each other on the back of your head. Secure them and let's move onto the next step.
- Take the rest of your top hair and tease it to give some volume and brush them back.
- I wanted to spice it up so I used the headpiece you see, unfortunately I didn't bought it online and as a matter of fact it was a gift from my grandma. I put it between the braided hair and the teased part to separate them.
- Take thin curling iron and curl the rest of the rest of your hair. I didn't want very defying curls so I went for wavy hair, besides my hair "don't like" very defying curls and they become loose curls very fast so why bother? haha. Also curl the rest of loose hair from the 2 braids you created before.
- Lastly secure the 2 braids behinds your head with few bobby pins. Oh and of course don't forget to use some (lots of) good hairspray.

The last part of this look is of course the nails. As you may know, there is no way that I will walk around with plain color on my nails. I'm not saying that just nail polish is bad but I can't not do some nail art specially if I'm going out. I present my summer night out nails:
summer nail design
summer, bright nail design
I think this design is very summery and you can change the colors if you don't like them. I used the China Glaze For Audrey and Zoya Rica nail polishes. I didn't have time to film and edit a tutorial for this design but I will write it down just in case you want to recreate, although it's pretty easy to create it just by looking at it.
- To create the gradient effect on the half of the nail all you have to do is to take a makeup sponge, apply the 2 colors of your choice ( makeup sure than they overlap each other in the middle to create a transitional color) and sponge it onto the nail. I wanted the colors to be more vibrant so I first used the same method just with white nail polish so it will act as base for the colors.
- On my pointing and ring fingers I created 3 white petals, that have small line at the base, at the top left corner of the nails. Also I added 2 lines of small, white dots where the gradient ends. For the flower center I used 1mm silver rhinestone.
- On the rest of my nails I added 2 white swirls between the gradient and rest of nail. I also placed a 1mm rhinestone in the middle, under the swirls on each nail.
- To finish it, I applied some top coat.

And this is the end of my post and entry. I do like the look and it is definitely something that I would wear for a night out on vacation or generally during any night outs in Spring and Summer. I would love to know what you think on my entry?

Night Out Makeup Look | Blue and Purple

Night Out Makeup Look | Blue and Purple

Hello ladies. Couple days ago I filmed a video tutorial for this night out makeup look and I finally managed to edit it and upload it. If this makeup looks familiar to you it's because, couple months ago, I did a blog post with tutorial for the eye makeup. I honestly wasn't expecting that I would love this so much simply because I don't tend to use colorful eyeshadows and I like staying in the safe zone of neutral colors. Everyday Spring Makeup Look with Video Tutorial

Everyday Spring Makeup Look
Everyday Spring Makeup Look
Everyday Spring Makeup Look In previous post I had shown you only the eye makeup but today I will show the complete look since it's been my "go to" everyday makeup look for spring. To be honest, up until recently, the only colors I've been using for lining my eyes were black and sometimes brown. But ever since I've tried blue I felt in love with it,specifically with the blue I'm using here the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Electric Blue. This color not only reminds of spring but it also helps my brown eyes to stand out more. What I like about this makeup look is that it's quite fast and doesn't require a lot of time which many of us might not have in the mornings... Here is the products list

Face:
Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation in shade 6
Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair
e.l.f. HD Powder

Cheeks:
Smashbox Bronze Lights in Suntan Matte

Eyes:
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Sonia Kashuk Eye on Neutral palette (eyeshadows #3 and #7)

EOTD : Add Some Blue to Your Life

Pop of blue eye makeup
Hey everybody! I've been sick the past couple days and that's why I haven't uploaded any new videos or posts. Today I wanted to show my favorite way to add some color to my everyday eye makeup. Personally I'm huge fan of neutral colors and only recently I started using colors such as blues, purples etc.

This eye makeup is incredibly easy to create and quite fast if you are good at doing winged eyeliner. First I started with my Urban Decay Primer Potion to prevent the eyeshadows from creasing. Then from my current favorite neutral palette, Sonia Kashuk Eye on Neutral, I applied the #3 eyeshadow, which is matte beige, all over the lid using the Sigma E55 brush. Next taking a warm brown eyeshadow ( #7 from the palette ) I blended into the crease using a Sigma E35 brush. For the blue eyeliner I used the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Electric Blue and brush like Sigma E05.Finally I applied few coats of the Benefit BADgal lash mascara and that's it.

I don't know about you but I really like this eye makeup for those days that I want some color in everyday makeup! :)

What do you think of this eye look? Let me know in the comments below!

- Inglot Pearl eyeshadows in 397 and 421

Simple Valentine's Makeup Look | Guest Post

Hey dolls! Starting from this week and till the end of February I will have exams at my Uni, only this week I have 4 exams :(. Because of that I won't have much time to blog and to fill in the gap I have couple lovely bloggers that will guest post. First is Fee from Raised on Mars, don't forget to check out her blog and enjoy the post :)
Simple Valentine's Makeup Look

Elo! Valentine’s day is just around the corner and however I express my hate for it pretty much every year again, I did want to make an eye-look inspired by it. Whether you’re going on a date; having a fun night with friends or having a movie night with Ben & Jerry’s, you can never go wrong with some extra special make-up! You never know when mister right turns up, right girls?
I think you should take every occasion as a reason to do your ultimate best and create an eye-look that will turn heads, make people whisper to each other when you walk by or creates queues with women begging for make-up tips. –drama, much?- This time I decided to use a lot of shimmery and pink colours, to keep it all very lady like. Let’s begin, shall we?!
Valentine's Makeup Look

Valentine's Eye Makeup Look

For my face I used the Benefit PoreFessional, my MAC foundation & concealer and a Maybelline blush in Pink Amber.  As I already used quite a lot of shimmer on the eyes I didn’t want to use a blush with too much glitter in it. The Maybelline blush is perfect for that because it has the most subtle shimmer in it + it looks very natural on you!

Then I started doing my eyes. I am not going to go into too much detail as I already listed the colours on the picture, but in case you were wondering how I did it: I started of with applying the Urban Decay Primer Potion all over my eye-lid and then I filled in my brows, the colour I have all over my eye-lid is from the Sleek Sunset palette so it doesn’t have a name, it’s the 5th colour in the bottom row. I then applied Passionate into my crease and Crème de Violet in the very outer corner. As close as possible to the lash-line a applied a pink eye-liner from Essence which a later blended with a black liquid eye-liner from Covergirl. To finish it all of I applied Maui Wowie in the corners of my eyes and applied my favourite mascara from Benefit.

On my lips I am wearing Orange Tempera from the MAC ‘Hey Sailor’ collection.

I really hope this was helpful to you! If you wanted to check out my blog you can do it here, I also have a twitter for my latest updates. –in case you were wondering how my valentine’s day went. aka my date with Ben & Jerry’s-

Hope you will have a great valentine’s day!

Fee xx

How Much is My Face Worth?

Quite a while ago the How much is my face worth tag was quite popular and many bloggers that I follow did this tag. I did the £20 makeup challenge so this will be an expensive version for a night makeup or even daytime if you like kinda bold eyes. I also was very curious to see the final price tag and I don't think it will be too high because I don't use a lot of high end products. So here's the look:
How Much is My Face Worth

Neutral Everyday makeup

Neutral Everyday eye makeup

Ugh unfortunately my camera didn't pick up very well the purple eyeshadow I used and it looks like I use only one eyeshadow but I didn't.

Face

Revlon age defying concealer  - $4
e.l.f. HD powder - $10.44
Smashbox Photo Finish Primer - $36 (full size)

Smashbox bronze lights in Suntan Matte - $29 (full size)

e.l.f. Liquid Eyeliner in Black - $2.40
Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara - $26

Eyebrows
Shade 5 from MUA Undressed Palette - $6.40

(The two Smashbox products that I have are in sample sizes from the Smashbox Best Seller kit)
The total is $238.64=£148.62=183.26 euros

Wow I have to say that that's a lot of money but it's definitely much cheaper than some other girls. Also if you noticed weird prices like for e.l.f. products it's because I bought them in £ not in $...Have you done this tag? What was your total?
