NOTD: Purple Butterfly

French Manicure with Purple Butterfly Nail Design
Today for me is a kinda lazy day, well at least till afternoon when I will clean my house lol. I decided to show what nail design I've been rocking this whole week. The previous Saturday, if I remember well, I had decided to do just simple french manicure because I really missed it. But when I was on YouTube later that day I saw a tutorial for nail design you see by a lovely youtuber I'm subscribed to. I decided to recreate it, so here I am sharing it with you.
It would look even better if I had the same brush that the girl used in the video for the one stroke wings of the butterfly but still, I think it turned out pretty cute. Something random I noticed while doing this design, gradient effect with acrylic paints it's way way easier than with nail polish. Anyways, you can see the tutorial here.

Bridal Style Nail Design

Hello my lovely readers. Hope you had a good weekend, mine wasn't the best as I'm still sick and today I need to go to hospital :( . Enough with that. Today I reached 200+ followers and I'm really happy and grateful for each one of you my lovely readers.
This post is a nail tutorial.  For a while I wanted to do french manicure but I didn't want the typical white tip and nothing else so I decided to add some decorations and here's the result.

In my opinion this is great not only for everyday manicure but also for special occasions like parties and
wedding. This would be great as bridal manicure :). Here is the video tutorial and don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to my youtube channel, I post new videos every Monday.

What do you think of this design?
If you will recreate this please feel free to send me on twitter @AnneColt your pictures.
I would love to see your work :)

HOW TO: Professional looking french manicure

Hello lovelies.
I think all of you know the french manicure and probably quite many of you love it.
Before I get into nail designs I used to wear french manicure pretty much all the time.
I don't like the french manicure that has as base color the bare nail or sheer pink.I prefer to use a milky color as my base color because it helps the tip to stand out even more.

For personal experience I know it's not easy to get a clean line.It took me quite a while till my hand was stable so I wouldn't end up with messy result.
What I used to do at the begininng is to use scotch tape to separate my nail from the tip, that way you could get a clean line. But if you use the tape make sure that the polish is completely dry before you remove the tape otherwise you will lift up parts of the nail polish too.
Also you can find some stickers that are designed to help you with creating a straight line.
and let's see how to achieve it

What do you think? Do you like french manicure?

NOTW and Tutorial

A quite long time ago I saw a picture of nail art I really liked(sorry don't remember where or who's) and I decided to make something similar,so here's my NOTW(nails of the week) :D

Now the tutorial part :)

What you need:

  • Milky nail polish
  • White polish
  • Black striper polish
  • Silver glitter striper polishes
  • Top & base coat
Steps:
  1. First you need to create french manicure.I prefer to use as background for my french manicure a milky polish and then on top make the tips with white but you can go with plane nail as background too :)
  2. Depending on how big your tip is, make 1-4 black stipes on one side of your tip
  3. Now with silver striper go between the black stripes and create silver ones
  4. With black striper create the wavy line starting from the other side of your tip (just like you see on the picture) and with silver, create one more just next to the black one
  5. Final step,on your ring and pointing fingers make few dots along the wavy line
  6. Add your top coat and your done :D
  7. Enjoy your nails XD
