Hello lovelies
For a while now I was thinking of changing my blog layout and I finally did it.I'm almost 100% happy with the way my blog looks,if only I could find somewhere instuctions on how to change the page menu I would be super happy.( If you know where can i find instructions please tell me :) )
For my previous layout I used shades of purple now I opted for pink.
So here's a before and after

I think it looks prettier than before. What do you think?
I also created a logo,2 nail polishes and 1 lipstick.I painted it from scratch using Photoshop with reference :)
I'm really happy with the look of logo and I love it :P
Overall I do enjoy this look for my blog more that before and I hope so do you.

How To: Acid Wash Nails

This is a new "trend" inspired from jeans...When I first saw acid wash nails I wasn't very excited about it but then I decided to give it a try and I must say I quite like it.This is super easy to do and a great alternative if you can't or don't have the time to do nail art.
You can use the usual white and blue or pretty much any other color combination. I decided to go with greenish neon yellow with white on top.

Steps
  1. After your base coat apply two coats of your desired polish. Let it dry completely
  2. Then apply one coat of another polish and let it dry too
  3. Take a cotton swab dipped into 100% aceton nail polish remover start erasing some parts of the top polish color
  4. Apply your top coat and your done :)
Tips
  • Make sure your base color it COMPLETELY dry otherwise when you will erase the top color you will easily pick up and your base color
  • Don't stick for long to one only area because then you will erase your base color too
  • Make sure your cotton swab is well dipped into the polish remover as it will be easier to remove your top color
So this the before
 And this is the after

What do think of this ? Do you like it?

Flakie Polishes: Nubar 2010 review

Lately the quite new fashion trend for nails is the flakie polish. There lots of companies that make those kind of polish with small differences between them.Such companies are Sally Hansen,Finger Paints,Essie,Inglot and of course Nubar.
To be honest I haven't tried other companies' flakies but I know for fact that I'm in love with the Nubar 2010.Basically it's a polish like normal top coat which contains flakes, reflective glitter, that gives you a pretty effect depending on what polish color you have underneath and the way that light shines on the nails.
That kind of polishes look better with black or generally dark background colors but you can get nice effect and with light colors like white, light pink etc.Personally I prefer to wear it with dark colors like royal blue or black.

What company says about it:
"nubar celebrates ten years of creating safe and innovative nail lacquers free of DBP (phthalate), formaldehyde, and toluene with nubar 2010.  This fantastic shade consists of flakes of reflective glitter in a  polychromatic base, and displays its many shades when worn alone as a sheer polish or layered over other nubar nail lacquers for a dramatic effect.  The limit to nubar 2010's possibilities is your imagination!"

Price on the official site: $8.00

I bought Nubar 2010 for ebay.com for $5.25+shipping around $3 i think  from this seller  who apparently doesn't ship to Greece now and I don't know why :/.

Here are some photos

Conclusion: I would defiantly recommend this polish if you would like to make your nails looks fancy with an easy way.I'm so glad I picked Nubar 2010 up and I'm in love with it
