MUA Glitter Nail Quake in Gold and Green Swatches

Hello my lovely readers. It's Friday today and I hope everyone will have a great weekend. Today I have some swatches of MUA Glitter Nail Quake in Gold and Green for you. As you can tell by the name those aren't the standard shatter nail varnishes but they are glitter which is pretty cool if you ask me. So lets look at the pictures:

When comes to shatter nail varnishes many people will have different preferences. Some like for the varnish to complete shatter other like when the background color is slightly picking through like those. For me it's all about what I want when I apply it and it also depends on the color. From those two I like more the gold one.
I only used one coat of the varnish. I have tried them couple times and they pretty much shatter the way you see on the picture.
I love the gold over black and the green one would look better over green shades but for swatches purposes I used white under it.
My nail quake in Green is thicker than Gold so it's slightly harder to apply it but that might be only mine and yours could be fine.

You can buy them for £2.99 from MUA Site

NOTW feat.OPI polishes

Unfortunatelly I had to cut my long nails :'( because I broke 3 of them.So this week I'm with short nails and I didn't want something too complicated or just plain color on my nails so I made this:

This is a very simple yet glamorous manicure that flatters short nails...

Polishes Used:
OPI Rising Star as background color

 How to achieve it:
  • After your base coat apply two coats of a coppery color,in my case OPI Rising star
  • After your backgound have dried aply a sheer coat of multi-color glitter polish.I used a light coat of OPI Bring on the Bling
  • Once glitter dried, apply your black shatter polish
  • Apply your top coat and your DONE!
  • Enjoy :D
