MAC Marilyn Monroe Fall 2012 Collection Preview

Hello my lovely readers...MAC will launch a new collection in Fall 2012, Marilyn Monroe collection. When I heard about it I was really excited to see all the products and the packaging and i think many other people too because when you hear Marilyn Monroe you expect something amazing and red :).

 "MAKEUP IS A GIRL’S BEST FRIEND: MAC Cosmetics will celebrate Marilyn Monroe’s legacy and iconic beauty look with a limited edition color cosmetics collection, due at all worldwide MAC locations in October. Launched in partnership with Authentic Brands Group LLC, which acquired the intellectual property of Marilyn Monroe LLC in January 2011, the range will feature about 30 custom-designed stockkeeping units, priced from $15 to $27, and include eye shadows, lipsticks, nail lacquers and eyeliners".-wwd.com

I must say that at first I really liked the packaging but after looking at  more photos I think MAC could do better job with the packaging. I'm not excited about the eyeshadows but I do like the lipsticks,the powder blushes and beauty powder. I'll try to save some money and go to my local MAC store to look at those products up close.

OPI Rising Star Photos, Swatches

I bought the Girls Love Gold set from Sephora which included one cosmetic bag and two OPI nail polishes

This is a really pretty orangey gold,copper color.It has a mettalicky finish and it's quite sparkly as you can see(I didn't use top coat)...The polish itself is pretty opaque and you can get nice coverage even with one coat with right application

And this is the cosmetic bag you get with the two OPI polishes.It's a quite small but fits the necessary.

It  has a very glossy finish and it's very sparkly which I love :P
