| Too Faced Lash Injection Mascara |
Too Faced has re-released this mascara after improving the formulation, as they said. Now, I haven't tried the previous version so I can't really tell you if this one is better or not but from what I read on the internet, many people don't like the new one.
The packaging it pretty, cute and it matches the Too Faced Little Black Book of Beauty packaging theme. The wand is the standard one that many mascaras come with, not too big nor too small and easy to work with.
Lash Injection mascara suppose to add both volume and length, I would say it does a little bit of both. Though don't expect anything drastic that would make you say "Wow". To be honest I was expecting something more but it still gives some definition to my lashes and the before & after difference is quite noticeable. As far as holding the curl, it does a decent job but because the mascara it quite wet it will weigh down the curl. And finally the smell, it has a kinda weird smell that I can't describe but it's nothing too strong.
There is one "weird" thing I noticed which I haven't seen in any other mascaras. When you remove it, it doesn't dissolve like mascaras normally do but it comes off in pieces which look like fibers; some people might like that, some not.
Overall, I can't say that I hate this mascara nor I can say that I love it. With mascaras it all comes down to what are you looking for, so for me this isn't a mascara that I would purchase the full size of it. You can find it at your local Sephora or department store for around $21.
