October Beauty Favorites

October Beauty Favorites
New month has just begun which means it's time for my monthly favorites. October was an ok month and nothing special happened, hopefully November will be a more exciting month. I've chosen 7 beauty products to show you which I was using a lot either on daily bases or when I was going out for a night out. So let's start with the only skin care product.

L'Oreal Ideal Fresh Foaming Water is an old love of mine. I've used up 2 bottles during spring and early summer then had a break from it -for no particular reason- and now I purchased it again, as a matter of fact I already almost finished one bottle. I use this daily after I remove my makeup to remove any kind of makeup residue and my skin feels super clean. Also I think that because it contains salicylic acid  it kind helps with breakouts that I get from time to time.

e.l.f High Definition Powder in translucent. I've had it for long time now but only started using it very often -actually everyday- quite recently. You may ask why? It's not because I don't or didn't like it but because for setting my foundation I prefer the Rimmel Stay Matte. So after purchasing the Maybelline Fit Me concealer I found myself in need to use some kind of powder to prevent it from setting in fine lines so before I went out to buy new powder I decided to give the e.l.f. HD one a go and guess what? I LOVED the combo of those two. I need a tiny amount to set the concealer and it will not only not set in fine lines but it also stays on for incredibly long time.

Maybelline Fit Me concealer in shade 20. I already featured this baby on my blog in the past but it's been my go to concealer for 6 months or so. While it doesn't have the greatest coverage -it's more of a medium coverage- I do like the way it looks on the under eye area and if you don't have very dark circles this will work just fine. The finish is quite illuminating but because I use the powder I mentioned before it becomes semi matte which is a bummer but with powder it stays on for really long. There is only one deal breaker with this concealer and it's the packaging. When it's near to the end I have to cut it open and transfer remaining concealer to another pot because if I throw it away I will be wasting a lot of product and it's a shame.
October Beauty Favorites ft L'Oreal, Essence, Catrice
Essence lipstick in Barely There. Because I'm really not a lipstick girl I tend to reach for more wearable shades and I kinda stick to some in specific like NYX Ceto, which if you've been following my blog for some time now have seen it being mentioned more than 10 times, lol. Barely There is one of those lipsticks because it's quite wearable and can easily be a day to night shade.  It's more of a brownish nude so some might like and some might not, I personally love it. You can read a more detailed review here.

L'Oreal Skin Perfection Magic Touch Instant Blur. It's one of those products which wasn't love at first sight. I had to use it quite few times to actually like it. It's a face primer which makes your pores look smaller for a more flawless foundation application. Also it seems to help with oil control because when I use it the T zone looks less oily/ shiny after a period of time. I've tried several ways to apply it but I found that if you first warm it up between your fingers it applies much easier and smoother. While you do need a small amount and it's not a primer I would use all over my face -only where I have large pores- the 15ml of product that this packaging contains is rather small amount for face primer.

Catrice Liquid Eyeliner Waterproof in Don't Leave Me. A great liquid eyeliner and a very recent love of mine. When I purchased it I wasn't expecting to like it so much but here I am featuring this in my monthly favorites and totally recommend if you are on a hunt for good drugstore eyeliner. You can read a more detailed review here.

Make up Sponge from eBay. While back I was doing some eBay shopping and this sponge happened to pop up so I bought it because it wasn't extremely expensive, no more than $2. Buying it I didn't expect something good or something that I would even end up using. Before this I bought the makeup sponge from H&M which I honestly hated and only used it like twice. When I received it I was  pleasantly surprised and long story short I ended up using more often than makeup brushes. I'll have a more detailed review up on my blog in next couple days.

Phew, that's it! I think that my monthly favorites always come out very long and I'm not sure if that's boring or not, hopefully you all enjoy a more detailed post. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried any of these products as well as your monthly beauty favorites. Till next time, love Anna!

October Favorites, Makeup, Skincare and More

+October Beauty FavoritesBeauty Favorites ft Garnier, The Body Shop and Dove
Beauty Favorites ft Sigma and EssieBeauty Favorites ft MAC, Urban Decay,Sigma,NYX and The Body shop
Hello lovelies. I didn't post my September favorites because I didn't have much to show so here are my October favorites. Although I been pretty busy this past month I tried several new beauty items and I really wanted to share them with you.

The Body Shop Honeymania Body Butter
I guest many of you are already familiar with this body butter and I own it for two months now but only recently started using it. Although I wasn't fan of the smell at first, now I love it. It has nice sweet floral scent, it moisturizes well and leaves my skin looking slightly dewy.

Dove go fresh spray deodorant
For a very, very long time I've been searching for a deodorant that I'll like and had no luck until a month ago when I picked this up. It has pomegranate and lemon verbena scent, in other words it smells freshness with slight sweetness and the smell lasts almost a day. It has 0% alcohol and it's also antiperspirant but it doesn't work and won't keep dry in that area.

Garnier Fructis Vita Boost Fresh Shampoo
Almost since the beginning of this year I been on quest to find a shampoo that will keep my hair presentable for around 2 days. Finally after many, many shampoos I found this one and it does keep my hair looking nice for 1.5 day. It's paraben and silicone free, has vitamin B3, lemon and mint and it's for normal to oily hair... On side note, I'm not sure what's the name for this shampoo in other countries, sorry.

Essie After School Boy Blazer and The Lace is on nail polishes
Both of the nail polishes are from the Essie's fall 2013 collection. After School Boy Blazer is a very dark blue color and it's perfect if you want to rock almost black nails and don't want to use actual black color. The Lace is on is an amazing pinkish purple and I love how it looks on nails.

Sigma E35 and F40 brushes
These brushes are some of my favorites from Sigma and the reasons why I wanted to mention them in my favorites is of course I used the a lot in past month but they also are multi purpose brushes. With E35 you can blend, apply a wash of color all over the lid, apply eyeshadow in the crease, highlight your face and do very defined contouring. With F40 you can not only apply your blush and bronzer but also set your face with powder and maybe even apply foundation.

I won't ramble about because I'm sure majority of makeup addicts already have tried it and know how good it is. I have the travel size and there is still some left in it and I have have it for over half year now. I notice quite a big difference in eyeshadows payoff and longevity when I use this primer.

The Body Shop Color Crush lipstick in #125
I LOVE this color. Ever since I tried this on, it became my go to lipstick when I'm going out and I usually don't reach out for such bold colors. If you like deep reds you just have to tried this!

NYX lipstick in Ceto
I have already mentioned this couple times on my blog and it's my everyday lipstick. It's my second tube of it and I will definitely purchase it again once I run out of it. For me this is my perfect everyday pinkish nude lipstick.

MAC Da Bling eyeshadow
Although I'm not a huge fan of pink eyeshadows, I really like and used this one quite a lot in the past month. I like that it's a rather muted pink, not very vibrant and I can easily wear it during day time.

Sigma Escape eyeshadow
Last but not least is this lovely eyeshadow from Sigma. It's a lovey beige shade which is great not only as all over the lid color but specially as highlighter. I, personally, been using it as my inner corners highlighter over the NYX jumbo pencil in Milk.
