Sigma Eyeshadows in Escape and Resist Review

Hello ladies. Today I will review two Sigma Beauty single eyeshadows in Escape and Resist. Those are actually my first single eyeshadows from Sigma and I was quite excited to try them. I love both shades and I find Resist perfect for Autumn/Winter and Escape is great highlighting shade.

I'll start with packing. While some might say that black with clear lid is cheap looking, I personally find it quite good and pretty. I love that the Sigma logo is holographic and I also appreciate the clear lid because you can easily see the eyeshadow color without the need of opening it. As far as the amount of product, you get 2.5g of eyeshadow which is pretty standard for single eyeshadows.

Sigma Resist eyeshadow is mixture between burgundy and plum colors with fine orange/yellow sparkles in it. The pigmentation is medium but definitely buildable and an eyeshadow base will help you to get the maximum payoff. I always wear my eyeshadows with a primer so Resist, with primer, lasts very well but without it has an average longevity. You, also, might experience some minor fallout but the texture is pretty smooth.

Sigma Escape eyeshadow is yellowish beige or as Sigma says, almond color with beautiful satin finish. I specially enjoy using it as my inner corners highlighter for everyday because it lights up that area without being shimmery. The pigmentation is medium and with base the color will show up better. The longevity is ok but like with every eyeshadow if you use a good primer under, it will stay on for much much longer. The texture is very smooth you and you won't experience any fallout.


Overall I do like both of them and probably will use them a lot during Autumn. Although I find them a bit pricey for the quality, at $11, but then again I have a MAC eyeshadow that has a bit worse pigmentation than those two. Oh and they are paraben free.
