L'Oreal Ideal Soft Micellar Solution Review

L'Oreal Ideal Soft Micellar Solution /Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Micellar Solution
L'Oreal Ideal Soft Micellar Solution
Hello ladies. Today I wanted to talk about a product that I had for quite a while now, as matter of fact I'm half way through the bottle. It's a new skincare product from L'Oreal and from what I know the name for Greece and USA is Ideal Soft Micellaire Solution while in UK is under the name Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Micellar Solution. It quickly becomes very popular and I think it's because of whole hype over the Bioderma Sensibio water and this one is similar to that but also because it's actually a great product.

In Greece it's been out for around 2 months now, I think, while in USA I'm not sure if it's out because I don't see it on the L'Oreal USA website and if you are in UK I've seen it on the Superdrug website. It retails for about 6-7 euros here and £4.99 in UK and you get 200 ml. I won't say that it's cheap and it's definitely not a lot cheaper than the Bioderma 500ml since that one, I think, retails for about 20 euros. Before I move on with the review I just want to let you know that I haven't tried the Bioderma so I can't compare this one to it.

This is the product that I been mainly using to remove my makeup for the past 2 months or so and I'm quite pleased with it. It says that it's suitable for sensitive/dry skins but honestly I would say that it will work for every skin type ( mine is combination to oily in summer) because it neither moisturize your skin nor dry it out. It's also hypoallergenic and it's fragrance-free. Somehow every time I use any liquid makeup removers some of it will get in my eyes, please tell me I'm not the only one that this happens to? And when this one gets in, it stings a bit at the first but my eyes don't get irritated.

So it's basically water that does good job at removing your makeup but it most likely won't remove waterproof mascara and it's better use oil based makeup remover for that ( from what I know at least). You won't need to do much rubbing to remove your mascara just place a cotton pad over the eyes and leave it on for 1 or maybe even 2 minutes and it will easily come off. If you won't leave it on you will have to rub your eyes to get it completely off. It doesn't irritate my skin at all and it simply leaves my skin feel clear after I'm done with makeup removing.

I would 100% recommend this to pretty much everyone and I probably will purchase it again once I'm out of all my makeup removers that I currently have. What do you think of this product? Have you tried it?

  1. I tried it, but now that I also own Bioderma, I can say that I definitely prefer it over this. But I still think it works great :)

  3. I tried this after hearing so much about it, but when I put it on my skin it started to sting, I think it might be a bit too harsh for my skin, a bit like the clean and clear toner which irritated my skin and made it all red and blotchy.

    Maybe its just me? xx
