Hi everyone, how's your weekend? Today I will review the Urban Decay Midnight Emergency Kit which I received as prize from a contest I won in the past. I've been using it for about a month now so I have complete picture of it. This set has 4 eyeshadows, one full-size lip gloss and one travel-size brush.  The eyeshadows that Urban Decay Midnight Emergency Kit contains are Midnight Cowboy, Midnight Rodeo, Midnight 15 and AC/DC. The lip junkie lip gloss is in Midnight Cowboy.

The pleather case has zipper and it's quite heavy, it's actually heavier than it looked at first when I got it but this means it's well made and sturdy so your eyeshadows are very well protected. The size isn't huge nor too small but I think you won't have problem stashing it anywhere even at your purse :)

Midnight Cowboy: is a pink champagne eyeshadow with frosted finish and chunky silver glitter.

Midnight Rodeo: is a sparkly taupe eyeshadow with chunky silver glitter but it seems to have less glitter than the Midnight Cowboy.

Midnight 15: is a kinda greyish champagne eyeshadow which has glitter too but it's not as chunky as the previous two.

AC/DC: is a really pretty smoky purple eyeshadow which is quite neutral and you can easily wear for day time makeup.

Each eyeshadow is 0.04z while the full sized eyeshadows are 0.05z. Generally the color pay-off is good but Midnight Cowboy and Midnight 15 are less pigmented than the other two. The big minus for me is the glitter fall out that occurs when I'm using the first two eyeshadows. No matter how I'm applying them or over what I'm applying them I always have glitter on my cheeks and it sticks on the skin and you can't just swipe it off with brush unless you applied a generous amount of powder before you use the eyeshadows. Also even if I clean all the fall out, during the day I will still have glitter on my cheeks because a small amount of glitter transfers on the lid and with blinking some will fall :( But that won't stop me from using those eyeshadows because I love the colors and the way the look on my eyes.

Urban Decay Lip Junkie in Midnight Cowboy

The Midnight Cowboy lip junkie is a sheer lip gloss with slight pinkish champagne tint which is almost invisible and it has lots of shimmer. I really love the fact that it's mint-scented and it kinda gives a cooling effect to my lips which might be a minus if you are not a fan of mint-scented products.

The brush is pretty good and the bristles are made of recycled PET plastic bottles, I think,so it's vegan. It's a good brush to pack on the eyeshadow although I prefer my Sigma E55.

Overall it's a good palette and great value although I wouldn't suggest it to someone who hates eyeshadows that have fall out plus I think you can find if not all,some of these eyeshadows in other UD palettes.

It retails for $39 but I saw there is an offer on UD website and it retails for $22.
