NOTD: Glitter Flower and Tutorial

Hello beauties. Sorry for the lack of posts but I couldn't find time to blog between Uni,dog-sitting and real life.Though I promise I will have new post this weekend plus one or two new YouTube videos so be sure to subscribe to my channel to be notified when I will upload new videos!
Anyways, today I will show you the nail art I did on my nails for this week and I have a tutorial as well. I was inspired by a great nail artist that I follow on instagram (bedizzle), by the way I'm annecolt on instagram if you want follow me there too :D.
The nail design looks like part of flower and I got many compliments on this design. It might seem tricky to do but in fact it's very easy though it might take some time, here's the design:

Personally I love, love this design!!! The pinkish color is La Femme nail polish in Mojo, the glitter is OPI Bring on the Bling and the black is acrylic paint. And like I said I have a tutorial for you, photo tutorial :)
Glitter Flower Nail Design Tutorial

1: After you apply your base coat, choose any color you want and paint you whole nail. I would suggest you to choose a color that will contrast with black and that way your design will pop.
2: Now with a glitter polish of your choice,in my case OPI Bring on the Bling, I created kinda gradient effect on the half of the nail. The amount of glitter you will apply is up to you.
3: Next I created a black line in the middle of the nail using black acrylic paint and a stripper brush.
4: For the next step I created  6-7 lines which have the same start point as the one I first created. The amount of lines will depend on how wide your nail is and how many&how big you want the petals to be.
5: And I'm almost done. For the next step I first connected the lines will a curvy line and then filled in the rest of the nail will black paint.
6: To finish the design I applied top coat and that's it :D

What do you think of this nail art? Let me know in the comments below :)
Also if you will recreate this feel free to share it with me on twitter @AnneColt

  10. Gorgeous butterfly wing tutorial - I'm gonna have to give it a go! I'm looking for a great black base for just this kind of mani - do you recommend any particular brand, bearing in mind I'm a Brit babe? x
