Garnier Miraculous Oil and Miraculous Oil Brushing Express |
Today I thought I would talk to you about my current 2 favorite hair oils that I've been using for the past 3, if not more, months. The 2 oils are both from Garnier and they are the original Miraculous Oil and the Miraculous Oil Brushing Express. My love for those 2 was gradually built because at first I was really skeptical about hair oils in general because I thought they would only make my hair feel and look greasy and nothing more.
Garnier Miraculous Oil contains Argan Oil and it suits all hair types. It's main purpose is to condition your hair and make it soft, shiny and easy to brush. The very first thing that made me like it was the smell, it's divine! I can't really describe it but it's amazing, slightly sweet smell which will stay in your hair for couple hours.
Garnier Miraculous Oil Brushing Express contains Argan oil as well but it's main purpose is to protect you hair from heat and also speed up the time you need to blow dry your hair. While I can't say exactly whether it protects from heat, I can say that it actually does speed up the time you need. On the bottle says that you might get up to 2 times faster drying. Of course I was curious to see if that was true so what I did is to set timer when I was blow drying my hair and see how long it would take me. So while normally it would take me about 8 minutes to blow dry my hair with the hair oil it took me only around 5 minutes. It's not half of the original time but still it indeed lowered the time I needed. There was only 1 thing that I didn't like with this oil and that was it's smell. On the internet some say that the smell reminds them of bubble gum and it kinda does but for it's not so pleasant to me. Thankfully over time the smell becomes less strong so now I don't mind it at all now.
Let me tell you now I use them. Both oils can be used on wet and dry hair but I mainly use them on wet unless I use some heat tool like straightener in which case I will use the Brushing Express oil on dry hair. For my hair length (my hair ends right on my boobs) I use 2 pumps of each oil. Before I blow dry ( lately though I haven't been using blow dryer but I still use the oil) I add 2 pumps of the Miraculous Oil Brushing Express on my hair and I'm applying from the bottom working my way up. I mainly focus on my ends and with whatever left I go though the rest of my hair. Then I will blow dry my hair until it's almost dry and then use 2 pumps of the Miraculous Oil and apply it the same way as I did before and after that I finish blow drying my hair. If you apply them the same way as I did and won't use too much of it ,your hair won't look greasy but obviously since we are talking about oils if you over do it or put too much near your roots you will end up with slightly greasy hair.
So those past 3 or so months, since I started using the oils, I stopped using hair conditioner. Not only my hair doesn't feel dry or look dry but I also haven't noticed any split ends or whatsoever enough though I been using blow dryer pretty much every single time I was washing my hair until the mid of June. To be honest I even happened to try a sample of the Aussie 3 minute miracle conditioner and my hair didn't feel softer than when I was using the oils. ( it only smelled nicer haha) As I said I've been using these 2 religiously for the past months and I'm only half way though them. So they will last me a long time and they are pretty cheap, around 7,5 euros here in Greece. With that being said I will continue using them and most like will repurchase once I run out. Have you tried any of these 2? Do you use hair oils? Let me know in the comments below.
Great post :) I love your blog and I have followed you with Bloglovin. If you ever get a chance to check out my blog I would be delighted, thanks.
