The Body Shop Colour Crush Lipstick in 125

Hello ladies. I wanted to write this post for quite a while now and I'm really excited to talk about my current favorite fall/winter lipstick, The Body Shop Colour Crush Lipstick in 125 Crazy Sexy Crimson.

If you have been following me for some time now you'll know that when it comes to lipsticks I usually go for either light colors or just nudes and this is one is complete on the other side from what I usually choose. I got this lipstick about a month ago when I went to an event from the Body Shop and when I first saw the color I wasn't too impressed with it and never could imagine that I'll like it since it's way out of my color range, but I was wrong because I LOVE it!

The Color Crush range has 24 shades but I think here in Greece we have only 20, although I might be wrong about it; They range from light pink to red to brown. I have never tried any lipsticks from Body Shop but if all the shades in Color Crush are as good as this one I might have to take a look at the over shades too.

The shade 125 Crazy Sexy Crimson is the perfect red color for Autumn/Winter if you ask me, it's a dark red with blue undertones which means your teeth will look whiter while wearing this( in the swatch picture the color is slightly lighter than it actually is). The finish is satin not matte as I saw stated on the Body Shop USA site; at first it's quite shiny but once it sets the finish is satin. The pigmentation is amazing and you get full color payoff with just one swipe. Now, the longevity is great too and without eating something it will easily stay on for 5 hours and will only start fading at the corners.

Overall I'm in LOVE with this lipstick and been wearing it a lot when I'm going out which is something unusual since I mainly go for pinkish nudes. If you want a perfect red for Autumn/Winter definitely give this a go. What do you think of this color? Which is your favorite Autumn/Winter lipstick?
