 OPI Every Month is Oktoberfest

Hello ladies. I know that I haven't posted in a week but during this week not only I celebrated my 21st birthday but I also had my last 3 exams. Now that I'm done and I'm free I will get to back to posting more regularly. Today, for you, I have the swatches of a beautiful nail polish called Every Month is Oktoberfest from OPI.

I'm sure you've seen this one before but Every Month is Oktoberfest is from the OPI's fall 2012 Germany collection. I got 2 shades from that collection this one and German-icure. I was slightly confused when I saw the two bottles because they almost looked identical but if you swatch them you'll see that one is purple based and the other is brown based. I can tell it from now that both shades will be on my "favorite nail polishes for autumn" list.

The color is a beautiful deep purple with red micro shimmers. Depending on the angle and the lighting it might look almost black but in direct sunlight it looks amazing, it's unlike any other nail polishes that I've came across in the past couple years. The formulation is great and with 2 coats you are good to go. Now, the wear time is nothing impressive and without top coat it started wearing off slightly faster than I thought but with top coat I think it will be ok. Although I don't like the nail polishes that start to wear off fast, I don't mind it with this one because I simply adore the color.

Every Month is Oktoberfest and German-icure are amazing shades for autumn/ winter and I would totally recommend them if you like dark vampy colors. You can buy it online for $6.95 from here.
