Zoya Rica Swatches

Zoya Rica
Hello ladies. Sorry for the lack of posts in the past couple days but my University exams started and I have 3 exams each week, one right after the other so all I've been doing is studying :(. Anyways, today I have swatches of an ultimate summer color, Zoya Rica which is part of summer 2011 collection from Zoya.

I really liked this color from the very first time I saw some swatches and this is actually my first ever Zoay nail polish. Rica is a pinky orange color with lots of very fine gold glitter and it's really shimmery. I must say that I'm more than satisfied with how the color looks, as a matter of fact I love it, but I was kinda let down by the formulation because you definitely need 3 coats to get opaque result and still if you will look very carefully you will be able to see where the nail tip starts. Even though it is a glitter nail polish I find it pretty easy to remove without the need of soaking your nails into nail polish remover for very long time. Also the wear time is pretty good and I didn't experienced any chipping.

Despite of nail polish not being very opaque I love the color and I most definitely will wear it a lot during summer. You can buy it here for $6.50

What do you think of this nail polish? Let me know in the comments below!

  3. This is such a pretty colour! Although Zoya is really hard to find in the UK, and anywhere that does sell it is really expensive sadly. Have you tried Zoya Chloe? Its a lovely as a gemstone top coat.

    I've followed you :)
