Hello ladies. China Glaze Galactic Gray is my first ever holographic nail polish. I know I'm kind late to the whole holo trend but better late than never. This nail polish is part of one of China Glaze's latest collection Hologlam which has 12 nail polishes. 

Galactic Gray is dark grey nail polish with holographic effect (obviously). I have to admit that the holo effect is not as strong as I thought it would be but from what I read this has the best holo effect of the 12 nail polishes from that collection and I really like it. Now, like I mentioned this is my first holo nail polish so I don't know how other apply but with this one you have to be careful. When you apply the first coat you can't go over it before it drys because it will strike and create bald spots. The application of this nail polish is definitely more time consuming than normal nail polish but I think with 2 coats you will be ok ( for the photos I applied 2 coats). The wear time is good but I'm not sure if it will look better if you apply top coat to prolong the wear time because depending on the top coat it might affect the holographic effect. 

Overall I do like Galactic Gray but if you want strong holo effect you might be slightly disappointed with this one. The nail polishes from this collection are more expensive than regular China Glaze nail polishes but you can buy it online for $4.95 here.
