Too Faced Little Black Book of Beauty

Today I will review the Too Faced Little Black Book of Beauty. This pretty "book" is made of metal and contains  12 eyeshadows, 2 blushes, 1 bronzer, 1 highlighter and 1 lip gloss. It also comes with a sample size of the Too Faced Lash Injection mascara which I will review in a separate post.
Like I said the packing is black,metallic and very solid but not too heavy. The size of the beauty book is about the same size as my iPhone 4 but a bit wider. Each eyeshadow has 0.74g which is not a lot but still fairly good amount. Each blush and bronzer has 3.97g of product. Also it has a medium sized mirror which covers the lip gloss.

I'll start with the face products.  This palette has 2 blushes, the Peach Sugar and Pink Velvet; the first one is shimmery while the other is complete matte. Peach Sugar kinda reminds of the NARS Orgasm blush because it is a peachy pink color with goldish shimmer. Pink Velvet is very pretty light mauve color which for a weird reason looks more pinkish in the swatch picture. The bronzer is kinda orangy brown and I wouldn't use it as bronzer for contouring because it is extremely shimmery. The highlighter, Sugar Cookie, is a good highlighter with gold shimmer. The pigmentation is relatively good and lasting power is not great but they stay on me for about 3-4 hours.

Now lets talk about the eyeshadows. This palette has a good selection of "day" and "night" colors and you can create many looks with them. The pigmentation is good not great ,with the shimmery eyeshadows being more pigmented than the matte ones.As for the lasting power I'm not sure if they will stay on for long period of time but with a little bit of primer both pigmentation and longevity will be much better. I really like the fact that all the eyeshadows feel very smooth and not powdery and they blend well.
The lip gloss is my least favorite in this palette. The color goes on rather sheer and it feels really tacky.
