Garnier Oil Free BB Cream |
In comparison to other foundations and BB creams, this is much more watery and more of a runny liquid. This makes the product very easy to apply to your face and then blend into the skin, leaving a glow to your skin which looks natural and not oily or shiny. I love reaching for this as it doesn't feel heavy on the skin, you cannot feel that you are wearing something with such great coverage, and it doesn't break me out.
The colour of this (light) is quite yellow toned, and does look slightly orange on swatching, which more suitable for more tanned skin, however this does blend into my pink based skin and doesn’t look odd (or orange!). In doing so, this BB cream gives a medium coverage, covering redness and evening the skin tone. I tend to apply this with my Real Techniques stippling brush for a lighter coverage or Real Techniques expert face brush for a higher coverage.
As for lasting power this BB cream lasts about 6/7 hours when set with my trusty Rimmel Stay Matte Powder on an ‘average day’.
This BB cream retails for £9.99 at Boots and Superdrug and is extremely good value as I have owned this for almost 8 months, using it most days, and there is still product left. It is also worth noting that this is also frequently on offer too.
Overall, I hope that you can tell that I am rather fond of this product and highly recommend it to anyone. If you tried the Original BB cream from Garnier and were disappointed, I would still give this a shot as they are completely different!
Thank you so much Anne for letting me guest blog, I hope you all enjoyed reading my post!
