Smashbox Bronze Lights in Suntan Matte Review

Hello my beauties :) Today I will review my current favorite bronzer, the Smashbox Bronze Lights in Suntan Matte and I got this bronzer in the Smashbox best sellers kit. This one has 3g of product while the full size has, I think, 8g of product. I haven't tried any smashbox products before this is one of my first products from them and I'm really impressed with it!
The packaging of the small size Smashbox Bronze Lights in Suntan Matte, the one I have, is completely different from the full size one. Mine is black, plastic with kinda soft rubber feeling when you touch it while the full size one is coppery, goldish kinda color with metallic finish. Personally I kinda prefer the black packaging.

The Smashbox Bronze Lights in Suntan Matte isn't very opaque, when applied with brush is has light - medium coverage but it's very buildable. The color is medium brown and of course,as the name says, it has matte finish which makes it perfect for contouring because you don't really want to contour with shimmery bronzer! Because it isn't very opaque it will work great with light - medium skins but I wouldn't say that this would work good as bronzer for darker skin tones.
This fits me perfectly and it is the perfect color to contour with. I love the fact that it's not too opaque because I have more control of the amount I apply, besides it's always easier to add more than to remove! The only "negative" thing I can say is that it fades kinda fast, on me it lasts for about 3-4 hours and then it starts to fade but I think that the foundation you use will affect how long it will stay on since you apply it over the foundation! Also because the first ingredient is Talc, in the packaging, the bronzer has talc kinda smell but don't worry, when you apply it you won't smell anything!
Overall I love love this bronzer and I'm definitely thinking of buying the full size but it is quite pricey,$29. I would definitely suggest it to anyone with light-medium skin.

Have you tried this bronzer? What's your favorite bronzer? Let me know in the comment below :)

  1. I'm currently using MAC's matte bronzer, but this looks very similar to it. Sometimes the MAC one can be too much, so I may try this.
