Illamasqua Powder Eye Shadow in Inception Review

Hey everyone, how is your weekend so far? I'm relaxing. Also filmed a video which I don't know if I will upload it because while I was filming the lens was a bit dirty and it looks kinda blurry on some spots on the video and I didn't realize it till I finished filming and saw the videos :(. Do you think I should edit it and upload it or not???? Anyways, today I will review the Illamasqua Powder Eye Shadow in Inception which I recieved as a prize from a contest I won.

As you may know purple eyeshadows compliment brown eyes, I have brown eyes so I was really happy to get this eye shadow because I don't have a color like this. It is very pretty rich violet eye shadow and it is matte. Because it is matte some people will like it some won't, I know some people don't like matte colors. Personally I love both, matte and shimmery. I have quite a few shimmery purple eye shadows and this is my first matte.
The pigmentation is great but could be more pigmented. It applies smoothly but when I apply it over the NYX Jumbo pencil I find it hard to blend it out. Generally it is an eye shadow that isn't super blendable. The lasting power is great when used with an eye shadow primer, I never wear eye shadows without primer so I can't tell you how long it will last without one.

I must admit that the ingredients list is on the longest I have seen on eye shadows. The only thing that puts me off is that it has few parabens. Oh I forgot to say that this eyeshadow isn't powdery at all,you won't see any fall outs after applying it which is a big plus.Overall I like this eyeshadow and I will probably wear it quite often :)

You can buy it for £15.50 from the Illamasqua website
What do you think of this eye shadow? Do you like purple eye shadows? Let me know in the comments below.
