Hi everyone,weekend is here who is excited? Any exciting plans? Today I will swatch a nail polish, I haven't done nail polish swatches for long time. The nail polish I will show you is the MUA nail varnish in Shade 6. So when I got the nail polish I wasn't sure how it will swatch but the first thing I noticed is that's tiny :(, it's only 6.2 ml. I think I will show you the swatches first and then will tell you my opinion.
For the swatches I applied 2 coats and I didn't used any top coat.As you can see this varnish is very opaque and it applies smoothly. As a matter of fact you could even get away with one coat if you're not bothered seeing a little bit of the tip. As for color is a very pretty red,not too dark not too vibrant and it's perfect for fall if you ask me :).
I wore this with one coat for 3 days without top coat and it performed very well. You could see the nail polish had worn off at the very tip which happens because,well,you use your hands a lot to grab something etc. Also as you can see from the first picture the text on the front worn off very easily,basically by the time I finished taking pictures of swatches the text was almost gone but this is kinda typical with drugstore products. If you want to prevent this just paint the area with clear nail polish :)
Generally I would say this a great nail polish for £1 but like I said at the beginning I wish the bottle was at least 10 ml because 6.2ml is too tiny :/

ReplyDeleteI really like this shade. Well on me it lasts pretty well.4 days,2 coats, no top coat and it still looks almost like I just applied it :D

DeletePersonally I don't wear read nails but I must say it looks gorgeous here! I know when I first saw the size , I was slightly disappointed but I think it's ok for the price.
